Big Appetites!

The boys have huge appetites!  My grocery budget will probably triple once they hit the teen years.  For lunch, Will ate a whole yogurt, 1/3 an apple, cheese crackers (a pile), half a pack of Graham crackers, two pieces of cheese, a piece of lunch meat (whole piece), one Oreo cookie, and drank a glass of milk.  He kept asking for more food, and I was running out of ideas.  Drew wasn’t too far behind with eating one whole yogurt, two pieces of cheese, cheese crackers, one Oreo, 1/3 an apple, and one large piece of Graham cracker.

Ha, ha! I’m glad I’m not the only mommy to include Cheese-Its and Graham crackers in the lunch menu! Sometimes we eat beef jerky for breakfast.

Wow! They are really growing! Up, hopefully. 🙂

JJ’s appetite has been up too. I am pushing more fresh veggies and fruits. I have been told again that he is overweight by a “health professional.” She said, “Well, it sounds like you are doing all the right things.” Really, he did grow 1/8″ during the same week that he gained over a pound. He was snacking a lot at some special evening meetings…

I just found out on Monday that Will is now 3 1/2 feet tall! Big boy! I think he is going to be over 6 feet tall for sure when he is grown. The doctors thought so too. He grew two inches since November.

I heard once that if you multiply their height at two by two, you will find out what their height will be when they are full grown. According to that, Drew will be his daddy’s height: 5 feet 11 inches, and Will’s going to be six feet or taller!
